Solar Fan added to Solar Shield Project |
I added this solar panel to the top of my recent solar shield project, because i was getting higher than usual temp reading over the summer, so I removed the top of the solar shield, measured and drilled the holes for mounting screws and the cable to go inside the instrument compartment, then used all weather silicone to weather proof the holes, i then added an old 12vdc cooling fan from a broken PC and laid it in the bottoms of the cage to add forced air flow into the compartment. |
